Good luck with Coach O for at least 3 more years

Alleva will have as much input in next football coach choice as the lint in my navel. If O fails that bastard from Duke is toast.

 

So, you don’t approve of the buyout, but you want Oeaux to recruit like gang busters and fix his FG kicking problem in the same season. Recruits commonly flock to programs with coaches with unsure futures. Seems like you, and others here, have very reasonable, logical expectations.

Oh, by the way, I was at the game. The weather was miserable. Freaking rainy, cold and windy the entire time. Both FGs we missed were on the windy end. Temp may have been forty’s, but with wind, rain/humidity, it felt like 30s. It sucked, but was good football weather, just ripe for errors, which none of you MFers have patience for. You make em everyday in your own life, but god forbid our team go 9-4, and lose a game by 4pts to a higher ranked team in a bowl game that we outplayed them.

I’m proud of our Tigers overall, not disappointed.

 

I say you go for the jugular right there. The only way I would have even considered playing it safe there with the 3 is if this is a national championship or SEC championship game and even then I probably still go for the TD.

That's not an option since he's gone. Going into next year would I rather have Etling or our current situation? Hell yes I'd rather have Etling.

And that's not a knock against Brennan. It's the coaching staffdoing a terrible job developing QBs to take over.

I’m disappointed, but the weather looked nasty (both teams played in it). I’m not calling for Eaux’s head; I hope we hire a good OC and finish recruiting strong. Thanks for representing, hopefully the theme parks treated you better than our football teams.
