Thanks GBE! I was all for you guys last year. You can't prove the SEC is the toughest conference without winning the games. We may fight in the regular season, but in the bowl season, it's all for the SEC! What happened with you guys and Michigan? Were you that lacksidasical, or was Michigan that hyped up to send Carr out with a win?
Ugh...I went to the Capital One bowl...It is all my fault. Every time I go to a game that is not in the Swamp, we lose. Anyway, I think it was a few things...We got exposed as a young defense again. We only had 6 starting seniors TOTAL. Our offense put up the points but the defense could NOT contain or pressure Michigan and forget the secondary. Our offensive line couldn't hold for Tebow and he just never had any time in the backfield. Those boys were BIG and made our players look starved lol. It was a beautiful day out and I kept saying if it were a TRUE Florida day out, hot and muggy, those boys would have dropped like flies Michigan was definately hungry for a win for Carr for sure. Michigan also has been plagued with injuries all year long and all of their key players were healthy so I think we saw the real Michigan. I think we left 17 points on the field but Michigan left more so it wouldn't have mattered. As a side note, the stupid ACC refs chose not to call holding ALL DAY LONG. On a positive note, Percy Harvin still had a fantastic game. All in all it was fun to watch because I was on the edge of my seat the whole time but I am not sure I will ever go to a game outside the Swamp again lol. If we don't work out these issues on defense and mature over the summer we are in trouble. Anyway, I will be glued to the TV tomorrow night. LSU is my second favorite team in the SEC and my first in the West. GO TIGERS!
Thanks, GBE. I was in a St. Pete bar last year in my LSU garb pulling for the Gators. There were several tOSU fans there too - but they were long gone by halftime. Great win for the SEC. I hope we make it the second year in a row for a SEC NC. Its good to have the rest of our conference pulling for us. Go SEC and :geaux: :thumb:
