why even watch the games if you don't think we can? I don't know if we will but i damn sure think we can.

 

great game LSU fans .... you have a team and fanbase you can be proud of. Just got back from the game (early this morning) ....... have no more voice, no more bourbon or Abita, and no leftover barbecue after a thirsty hoarde of cajuns ivaded our tailgate.

Everybody was well behaved, there was lots of great football discussion before and after the game, and I didn't see a single incident other than a few overzealous "Tiger Baits." The weather may have been the best weather I've experienced for a football game in my entire 40+ years of watching football .... and the weather alone would have made it a great day.

I was really glad to see that there were no controversial calls by the officials. If anything, I felt it leaned towards LSU. Given some of the horrid examples of SEC officiating we've witnessed, I was thankful this crew stepped up with a solid performance.

This game went almost as I expected, with the exception of our horrible punting and your exceptional punting. It's a wonder it didn't cost my Tigers the game.

Anyway, good luck the rest of the season. I'll especially be rooting for y'all to hang 40 on Alabama next week. War Damn LSU!

 

Mad props to Auburn for not running up the score at the end of the game when they had the bal 1st and goal with over a minute left. If Auburn had fans like some around here, they'd be bitching that Auburn did not beat LSU by enough.

Auburn has always been my 2nd favorite SEC team (with the exception of the Tubberville years). You guys have a great team and I wish you the best.

 

Auburn was the better team yesterday and deserved the win. And I have to admit that Cam Newton is amazing and is the best college player I have seen LSU play against in many years. Congrats to the classy Auburn fans that come here. We will see you in BR next year... with a totally different result!

 

I think this post is an example of why I love college football so much .Opposing Sec fans can have a mature game breakdown without saying oh your team blows eff you, just immature comments. I think it was a great game, yalls quarterback made the difference. Guy like that can't be stopped, way too dangerous. I think that's what our team is missing, a consistent QB who can open up the offense. Newton had our team biting on his reads all day. D thought he had the ball, then the running back slashes us. Good luck this year, i'll be watching
