I live right outside of mobile (daphne) now. I can empathize. Funny thing is warchicken fans are obnoxious and miserable SOBs but they are more, well "white coller". gump fans are pretty much what you find at the bottom of a bait bucket after a day out in the gulf.

His successes are ANCIENT FREAKING HISTORY!

What have you done for me lately?

    Steady decline since 21-0.

NFL talent and can't sniff 1ST PLACE in the SEC West.

Can't beat the Rammer Jammers or SEC Big Boys.

Dysfunctional 1950's era offense and QB performance.

DiNardo like "Stubborn as an Ox" qualities and refusal to change, with too many BBQ Buddy's on the staff.

I cant believe Red would run from a debate, that dude would debate a concrete wall as to why it was standing there. I hope nothing bad happened to him.
As far Miles, i was a supporter but the three blow out losses in row, sent me at least to stand on the fence. I cant fully get behind an out right divorce in the manner it was headed. I would much prefer a more amiable dissolution, where over the next season Miles successor is found and Miles is given some other duties in the program. This would keep us from Falling down hard for several years.

True, but how many times this season has an honest attempt at an LSU football discussion thread not deteriorated into a "fire Miles" thread? Bet you can count them on one hand...always starts the same....someone makes an attempt at stating a key for a given game, and someone fires back along the lines of "of course Miles will never do/see/try that." And here we go....

Nah, his last post said something along the lines of "I've had it with you people, adios." He's gone because he wants to be.

Unfortunately, his curmudgeonish nature finally got the better of him. Personally, I did not agree with most of his beliefs, but I enjoyed following his "discussions".
