He said in our history. It was said by Todd Blackledge as he and Sean McDonough were wrapping up the telecast.
Did a quick google search (God bless google) #11 in the link A bunch of other interesting stats too http://www.lsusports.net/pdf9/5476050.pdf
Nice. I was about to say that it seems like we would have more than 74 games in our entire history that met that criteria, but I guess not.
Didn't the Evil Twins use to post on maybe run tigerroar.com, back when it was a regular message board?
Really good points. When I was young, and LSU would lose a close game with missed FGs along the way, I would always wonder how a school like LSU couldn't have the best kickers lined up to play for them? How they couldn't go out and find someone, if they didn't already have one? Well, Oeaux/McMahon did that this past year. Credit to them, big time. And, credit to them for proactively showing interest in Burrow when he made it known he was interested in transferring, and like you said addressing line depth weaknesses.
I dont expect us to win the SEC this year we are still too inexperienced at key positions and a killer of a schedule. We will be somewhere between 7-5 and 9-3 anything better would be fantastic. Oeaux was not dealt the best of hands and IMHO needs the fans and the AD's backing for 2 more recruiting cycles to prove he can compete with the Bama's and Georgia's of the SEC. He is already addressed the QB position now and for the future with Peter Parrish next year and TJ Finley in 2020. He has the next LF7 type RB coming in next year in Tyrion Davis. He already has 4 OL coming in next year with one being #1 at his position. He has the #1 CB in the country coming in next year. Just saying
Yeah, I agree. I'm patient enough to give him time. Winning cures all, so hopefully he wins enough to get that time. I certainly support him while he is the HC.
This is about where I see us. I’m thinking 8-4 where we lose a game we shouldn’t and win one more we shouldn’t. Depending on who you’re asking 8 wins mean we won 2 or 3 games we shouldn’t have.
This is reasonable. Fan contentment/disappointment is directly related to appropriate vs inflated expectations. True in many aspects of life really, especially in our first world, high expectation environment.
