Way to step up with the G,B &U thread. Red did an adequate job but he didn't really understand the game of football. He was a Tiger fan but not a football or even a sports fan. I don't think he ever once posted in the Other Sports or the Saints threads. I was afraid I would have to do it before tiga started it and turned it into a softball thread.
Red did a good job and he did understand football. He aggravated the shit out of me sometimes, but he wasn't just a lily livered liberal. Totally agree with Tirk picking it up; he's money almost always.
If he had really understood all the nuances of football he wouldn't have supported Les Miles until the bitter end. For him The Golden Age of LSU Football meant going 8-4 and 9-3.
Well, hard to disagree that he supported Les too long. Those who fought back were at one time very outnumbered.
