Wow I am sure O/Canada/Grimes has no clue about what MC is suggesting. How could they know this since they coach them every day and have coaches meeting to discuss the gameplane based on what their capabilities are. Jesus freaking Christ what a stupid assertion.
The good: Canada reads the forums: Orgeron: First thing Matt (Canada) said this morning was the need to simplify things (motion and shifting) #LSU
It's not good that he is just realizing this. Hell the defense seems to be about as dumbed down as it can be.
Read that and that tells me he is paying attention. We all better face the ugly truth that this team is not going to win more than 2 to 3 more games. If we do go 8-4 or 9-3 that will be hard to believe. 6-6 or 7-5 is more reasonable. We couldn't be in worse shape. Now Lawrence and Guice may be out for more than one game. Donavan Cambell will not play this year and Ed Alexander will probably be out for a while. Herron may or not play this or the following week. Yuck!
My dad, who I watched draw football plays at my kitchen table my entire life, always laughed at analysts yammering about "short yardage" play, etc. Every play in football is designed to score a TD...every...single...one. Now, to score, they must be run to perfection, but there are no varying yardage plays. They are all designed to score a TD.
Sorry to disagree but an out route to gain yardage and go out of bounds to stop the clock is not designed to score a TD, just saying.
