The Hallman comment was painful to read. Because it's true. Les Miles never had a team quit on him on both sides of the ball. And I agree with you there as well. Does not bode well for Coach to survive past what we can stomach in a buyout.
I know you like to have an itinerary before the game starts regardless how it plays out. That's not reality. The coaches played the first two games to almost perfection in my humble opinion. You don't start chucking the ball all over the field when they give you 6 man fronts. You keep beating their heads in and run out the clock punching it in the end zone. Anything else is ridiculous. Would it have been great to have man coverage and let etling get more reps. Sure. But the game isn't played on paper. In fact etling getting reps isn't the issue. It's his lack of composure in high pressure situations. We can agree it's time to see Brennan. This season is over regarding a major bowl. I forgot what I predicted 4 or 5 losses. I think that's best case at this point.
R Kansas in 2014 and 2015. Ole Miss in 2015. Second half vs Tennessee 2005. Offense January, 2012 vs gumps.
Stop it with that Les Miles lie. The end of 2015 and start of 2016 come to mind. On the bright side, if Eaux doesn't make it neither will Alleva. And hopefully FKing too.
On the defensive side, I have much more faith. I think we have beat the Dline to death. Nothing more to say there. What I will say is a safety needs to step up and take control of that Unit.
As the most experienced member of the unit Dante Jackson should step up and assume the mantle of leadership the same way Patrick Peterson did in 2010.
Man. I'm not as quick to jump on that 23 as I was the 7 on the road at State, only because if this LSU team gets pissed (as they should be) and plays up to their potential they should cover. But damn, 23 points??!!?? Hmmmm
