Hey don't click the thread. I'm gonna be discussing this ominous and historical collapse til seasons end.
That's 100% true. Texas came to play with the same level of emotional and energy that Mississippi St. did. I haven't put enough stock into that. I went back and rewatched the beginning of the game and those kids were having to be held back on the sideline at kickoff. Fired Up! I don't know how Mississippi State is going to match that energy next week or even thereafter. They played that game like it was the national championship. Then......That 1st TD called back set the tone. Total horse shit call too. F**k moral victories but in the end that will be a memorable and learning experience for the young guys on this team. They didn't come to LSU to get their ass whipped like that. This should be a serious gut check for them. Any how, on to the orange juice. Geaux Tigers!
Just to shed some light. Penn State lost to Michigan last year by 39 points last year. Penn State won the Big 10...
I would love if that happened, but unfortunately we just don't have the asses to make that happen. We would need some freshman to step up a play like four year starters to get thru the schedule. We played tired and it's only going to get worse. The lack of depth at crucial positions will be our demise!
This game, hopefully showed them talent alone gets there no-where. I am past it now. On to the rest of the season.
Guice wasn't getting alot of help up front. The sweep runs were also blown up immediately. The only runs I recall being consistently successful were Williams when he brought a load. At the end of the day, all Canadas motion plays did nothing to fool MSU. Especially since they most ended up being exactly what they started as.
