The Good 1. No turnovers. No injuries. The bad 1. Coaching - no one prepared for what awaited them in Starkville. The gimmicky offense with the base runs and chucking it up to chark on a 3 step drop in double coverage never changed. This looked like a cam Cameron offense lobbing a deep ball to Dupree. No 2nd look no checkoffs no adjustments. Multiple shifts are cute but at some point Canada has to understand in the sec you run downhill or move the pocket and make it work. Wtf are you thinking. This isn't the big east. Aranda had no answers either. Dline was embarrassed. Kt2 and the secondary looked lost and confused. Lacouture is in a league above his pay grade. As is Gilmore and Logan. Grimes should be sent packing. 2. Effort - we quit. Inexcusable. I don't remember a miles coached team quit like this. Chark quit on a couple routes. Oline looked to not give a shit on blocking assignments. Dline seemed ok getting their shit pushed in repeatedly. Unacceptable for any lsu team. I'd start new guys at every position if this continues and make a statement. You play fucking 60 minutes or you won't play for my team. The ugly 1. Penalties - Jesus God. Can we show any discipline whatsoever. We look like Usc under sark or Baylor under briles. This is again on the coaches. Get your shit together. 2. Dominated - in every facet by miss st. Let that sink in. This was no fluke. We play 10 times we win 2. Maybe. Haven't felt this outclassed since the Hallman days. We have a lot wrong with this team. 3. Oline and dline suck. 2 freshmen starters on the oline. Unacceptable. I guess this is on miles. Lost as fuck. Dline is the weakest I can remember. Probably on miles too but this staff is better than what we've seen. Coach these guys up or get someone willing to fight. Embarrassing. 4. The 2 deep is filled with too many freshmen for my liking. The NFL raped us but you have to be better prepared. We aren't freaking Memphis for God's sake but then again they beat ucla tonight. 5. 12 million dollar buyout from alleva. Not to mention the money still paying miles long after the 1/9 debacle when he granted the extension. Because miles pretended he was going to r-kansas. We have the most naive AD in all of sports. 6. Coach zerOeaux. Do something. Honorable mention to Corey Thompson and Devin white. They played like tigers. Unlike the rest who were mostly an embarrassment. Williams and Guice weren't terrible. Looks like a long season. Rebuild is a 4 letter word in these parts. Worst loss to an unranked team in Starkville since 1984. We currently have the most overpaid assistants and HC in college football if this is a precursor of what's to come.
12 million dollars? That should be a fireable offense even if we totally turn it around and never lose again.
I wasn't able to watch the game, thank god. The only comment I can make is that this is unacceptable. The lack of discipline, confusion and quitting on the field is more than troublesome. It is imperative that O and his assistants correct this immediately. We have 2 weeks before Auburn. If we're embarrassed like we were last night against the barn it will be ugly.
I see 8-4 .Losses to Florida , Bama and Tennessee. Beating Gus Bus in BR will be only dimmer of glory. Another crap bowl and hopes the young kids get better and Brennan is the blonde haired Jesus in '18. However I'm not impressed with Canada offense .It's sizzle no steak.
Not sure and was never sure of this razzle dazzle offense. Dont think the players have bought into his system either. Frankly Ensminger did a good job last year. Canada got some "splaining" to do.
What if on the other side of the coin the cow bells are legit? Did we make them look that way or are they for real? I still think we beat the vols, war chickens, ole piss and maybe the gaytors. It was evident that we slept walked into this game and got punched in the mouth. Our young team did not respond and the veterans didn't step up. This needs to be fixed. Let's all take a big fing breath and not everyone go taint just yet.
Moostate is serviceable like they are every 3-4 years with experienced lines and depth along with a decent to good QB (still better than what we have). They will likely get exposed long before Nov. Possibly next week. We really are that bad/thin.
What a dumpster fire of a game. Let's hope it doesn't get any worse than this. Maybe it's a wake-up call for this team. To lose like that to the freaking Cowbells is inexcusable.
