Yea, he has the standing part down. The Oline was terrible in the 1st half. Just bad blocking. Much better in the second half. The coaches need to get creative with LF. Every team almost knows the exact play when he is in the game. For a while, every pass play LF came out and Magee in to block. We cannot keep handing it off to 9 man fronts with a freshman back or any back. Jennings or the coaches need to CHECK out of that. Also, BAD blitz recognition.
In the most simple terms, Harris is believed and has show to have more upside. Given the fact that both Jennings and Harris are even at this point and offer no real difference in O production, I myself believe that why not give the keys to him and get the growing pains started. Would you agree both are damn near equal at this point? The only difference is game time experience and age.
If he can't learn on the fly that's his problem. Right now Anthony Jennings is the better quarterback.
while that sounds good in theory, fact of the matter is we are 6-2 and no longer just playing out the string. therefore we are going with what we know until something changes. if and when ole myth blows us out and we pass for 60 yards total, then we can start the harris reformation project. which means 1 extra series a game.
Why not just get a celebrity guest quarterback each week to hand the ball off to the running backs? Phil Robertson is probably still a better QB than Jennings ever will be.
