My problem with vehement negatigers is that too many seem to take pleasure when things go poorly and have only one solution. Fire Les Miles. Likewise too many seem to be uncompromising and demand perfection and act miserable (at least that's the way I read you) if anyone points out the positives or likes Les for all he is and inspite of his faults.
Well I think we and the team are in big trouble in regard to what most think as a successful season. That does not mean I want us to falter, but other than the various running backs, we don't have the skill/desire/drive/coaching to insure success against a quality football team. The problem with these JayVee scheduling is that we either fail to prepare, or we get fooled into thinking we have more than we got. Unless a lot changes fast, in all facets, other than running game, we are headed for disappointment. I want us to go all out he way. I don't see discussing weakness and screw ups as any form of disloyalty. Like I tell my students, if I did not care, I would not care. That is way different than being a hater.
"Jayvee scheduling?" Bama just played UL Monroe. Ohio St played Northern Illinois or some such school, and damn near lost to them. Georgia played Southern! Every major power schedules a couple of breaks in the season. And as for a successful season, how much more successful after 4 games can we be than 4-0? You may be convinced we're "headed for disappointment", but I see no good in wringing my hands about what may or may not happen in a football game a month, or even a week from now. All I can do is turn on the TV and hope we win. What enjoyment can you possibly get from bracing yourself for a loss. Will it make the loss more enjoyable when it happens?
i don't see it, I don't see the coaches telling the quarterback to forget every other receiver except the deep guy.
There are a lot of things about our passing game that most of us can't wrap our minds around. How in the world can an elite program march out such a putrid passing game season after season. Who the fk knows what the coaches are telling the QB? Whatever it is it isn't working.
So we agree, we don't know either way. Just that it happens and continues to happen, so both parties are complicit. <sarcasm>Or maybe they're just saving them for the big game </sarcasm>.
Like hell some sunshine pumper is going to take the moral high ground. Two weeks ago LSU has a mediocre passing game and an entire thread was created telling negatigers basically, "Look see, everything is fine. Fuck y'all." Pumpers are just as bad as negatigers. The difference is we've been saying all season what pumpers are finally having to admit today. Besides, no one is calling for Miles to be fired. We're calling for balanced play calling and holding coaches responsible for their clear failures. No different than when players are held accountable.
