We played 4 true freshman starters (3 defense and 1 offense) and several redshirt freshmen. 13 did not attend due to suspension or injury including at least 2 starters on D. How many saw their first action last night????
That by itself if very good especially in light of the results.

I couldn't believe the time of possession. It's so weird how controlling the clock keeps one defense fresh and the other tired. It's like sorcery.

Considering the amount of motion and shifts there were very few false starts/procedure penalties.

I like the tempo changes. Going from a huddle to a no huddle and back and forth as well as all the shifting and movement kept the defense off balance. Will that work in the SEC? We'll see. I was surprised that Guice was never able to break a long run. Kudos to an outmanned BYU defense for hanging in there.

He had a big one early in the game. Must have been 30, not sure.
