Pretty sure they get millions for results, not excuses. We lost this game and have fielded bargain basement passing most of Miles' time here; therefore the griping. We had the game won, and then found a way to lose. Miles didn't earn his paycheck at the end, which the pumpers like to say is all that matters.

A little too positive, but I look forward to this following every game.

    That's right. They do.

Geez, we came close to winning this one. We looked strong and did not get blown out by a top-5 team. Why be totally negative when there was a lot of positive for all to see?

    This board is Tit's.

Anything negative about the performance of this team and we suddenly "know more" than the coaches.

Anyway, please make your case for why Miles is doing a good job of recruiting effective QB's

    Here are the facts:

    Passing Offense Nationally:
    2008: 72
    2009: 97
    2010: 107
    2011: 109 (If only)
    2012: 94
2013: 45 (took a 3rd round QB) Good Job on getting Mett
    2014: 109 Look out.

Just in case you didn't know, there are 125 ranked teams.

I went back as far as stats would allow.

    From 2008, we average: 90th.

    Make your case!

This is the issue Red, we almost beat a top 5 team with 76 passing yards.

Thats why some of us are so pissed.

We almost won a National Title with Jordan Freaking Jefferson.

Thats why some of us are so pissed.

If we can just figure out wtf we are doing ON O, it would be glorious.

Yeah, no matter how you look at it, our passing offense has never been a formidable force, or any where close to the quality level of the rest of the team. The summary above really illustrates how pathetic our passing has been. I have always felt if we just had a passing game to go along w/our running game, STs, and defense, we would no doubt have even more success than we have had. Maybe even another NC or two. I am appreciative of our success, but there is no way you can sugarcoat our passing game. There seems to be an excuse every year. I really thought Cam would take us to another level, but he is handcuffed with run, run, pass, mentality until we are behind. The stats above should not be the case in this day and age for a program the level of LSU.

I just feel like we wasted the opportunity to build Jennings confidence level early in the season. When we HAVE to pass, it does not look natural.

It is as if we just throw it up and hope for the best. Everything we do is based off the run, which is OK, but if we cant pass, why not run the read option?
