I agree, I'd be happy just seeing Harris get more PT. I honestly feel his passing would prove better for the LSU O. I agree Domingue should have known not to kick it out of bounds. I just rather keep doing what you have been doing. I get what you're saying about the preventing the big play and our lack of pass rush of the DL. LSU was doing well until that point. Keep playing like you were. I like how LSU went all out against Ole Miss. They went conservative again against Bama and it once again cost us. I could have accepted Ole Miss beating us since we played to win. I have trouble accepting a loss like last night when you change what got you there. I agree, I don't like the cheap calls but you can't allow the blatant calls like last night.
The number is meaningless; if the ball hits the receiver in the hands and he drops it, its his fault. I agree.
LSU has recruited good QB's under Miles. Oh Miles is the QB coach now? Oh I suppose that since being the QB coach is so trivial to him that he didn't feel the need to give up being the OC as well. See above, but will point out that it is an effective philosophy if a team is built to play that way. LSU is. It's a ball control, field position, power game philosophy that might be boring to those that thirst for basketball on turf type games, but it isn't ugly. This automatically identifies you as someone who doesn't know what he is talking about. Meh, just another hater hating and as I pointed out above you don't know what you're talking about. Disappointing yes, but ugly no. How is this ugly to you, if that is what you would like to see? In your wildest dreams, I doubt there was ever a high school team that would have had 8 plays for positive yards, much less 8 completions.
Just womdering how that could be? They weren't on the field hardly any in the 2nd half. No kidding! We wait until we're down by 7 in OT to open up the offense when we've been running the ball pretty effectively all night? Poor, panicky coaching, plain and simple. Once again, Bama is bailed out by the officiating. They're gonna call that, but somehow miss Jennings almost getting his head twisted off by a facemask? I'm not totally blaming the refs because there were plenty of opportunities elsewhere to win, but it's not the first time or sadly the last, that this has happened. It's so frustrating to know we outplayed them and cudda/shudda/wudda won the game if not for the perfect storm of circumstances happening (poor coaching, a couple of poor plays by the team, and piss poor SEC (sorry, that was redundant) officiating).
Just as Quinn did on his two drops, lost concentration on the ball thinking of extra yardage after the catches they both forgot they had to make first.
So you're saying what? Results matter, in ten years miles has fielded an effective passing attack three times. But it isn't his fault?
He's NOT an SEC QB. Should be starting at Georgia State or some place like that. Jordan Jefferson 2.0. I refuse to believe that either one of the "R's" would be this dysfunctional in the Passing Game, especially in a short passing game. Unless Harris shows up in the Spring and takes the reigns, this program is in deep trouble offensively. But keep on keeping on Les. Continue recruiting those QB's that can only "Run Fast."
Look at the stats from the last spring game. Harris showed up. BH will not be given a chance to take the reigns until AJ graduates. Miles has made his choice and that is that.
