If you want to see a young spread offense quarterback groomed properly look at the Harris kid at Florida. I am an LSU grad and live in Orlando so I see a lot of Florida high school football. The Driskel kid was an ok quarterback, but Florida was losing key games. Trevon Harris of the Gators, who reminds me a lot of Brandon Harris, is a spread quarterback who can run and throw. The Harris kid at Florida ran exclusively from the spread in high school so he adapted very quickly to that offense at Florida. The difference is Muschamp's back is to the wall and he has to win to keep his job, whereas CLM has job security. Florida went all in with Trevon Harris and he is starting to play exceptionally well. He is not looking over his shoulder to see if coach is going to pull him. The Gators have a really strong running game from the spread and Trevon has the option to pass on run on most plays. Just wonder what LSU's offense would be like if we ran the spread with BH?
Didn't they lose today? Job against the wall and everything. The SEC is what it is. Desperation works sometimes, but is not consistent. We have a QB that has won all but one of his starts. We are young, but good.
