Yes, we'll have to start over with someone else...when Miles retires. You might as well accept that one little detail.

It will help you sleep easier at night.

Miles, in spite of his deficiencies, is not an Archer, Hallman, or DiNardo. He will not be fired.

Bama has had garbage at QB for years and plays for championships after beating LSU. However they don't run a stone age offense that doesn’t play to their QBs strengths. Our QBs have been bad, our scheme has been worse.

Saban has been able to find and develop good game managers. Miles has not. We don't need a Peytonbrady Unitasmontana. Just give us a Mattmatt Mauckflynn.

Look at the change of the defensive line personnel over the last four years.

Interesting note posted by Russ Dellenger. LSU O Line position rank out of HS 3.1Alabama D Line position rank 4.2. There is a talent gap.

That's one position, what about the rest of each team?

The line is the key to successful offense. As you saw the best running back in the nation was stoned when he couldn't get to the line of scrimmage without getting hit.

Compare oline to oline, dline to dline.

In the 4 plays vs McNeese LSU ran a jet sweep and a screen pass to Guice. Those plays are in the playbook but Cam doesn't call them. I just heard Allen Risher say give him the playbook and he would call a more diversified offense from the present playbook. He said he would do it for half of what Cam makes. I could do it too and I'll do it for 20% of Cam's pay. That's still $230k. Just give me a fat bonus when we beat the gumps

Who cares about that comparison? The o-line plays the d-line.
