I am not a doctor but I'll stay at a Holiday Inn Express if it means I can do brain surgery on you. It will takevall my skills to reverse your lobotomy
It's definitely not. It's a matchup thing. Alabama beats LSU like they did last night because LSU is built like they are. Alabama builds its team to beat LSU, LSU builds its team to beat everyone except Alabama. Ole Miss had success because they throw the football. Bama's strength is their front 7. If you want to beat them you have to throw the football to set up the run and take a few running plays here and there when they back off the line to defend the pass. Our offensive philosophy is to run the ball to set up play action and when you can't run, play action doesn't work. It's really quite simple. The difference between Alabama and LSU is philosophy, Alabama isn't afraid to lean on their passing game. LSU is.
Let me say this. I'm not trying to bash Miles, I truly like the man. He appears to genuinely love LSU and the kids who play for him. However Well said.
Here is a detailed analysis of the breakdowns offensive and defensive Saturday night. Those who put all the blame on CLM should read this as its enlightening. Yes Les holds ultimate responsibility but the whole team shares the faults. You CAN'T SEPERATE THE TWO. We got our asses kicked by a better team (coaches AND players). Let's get over it and look forward to the rest of the season. Film Room: Alabama 30, LSU 16 - Tiger Tracks
agree 100% , I told a guy at work, the difference will be coaching. On Offense and Defense, it was pitiful.
I don't need to look at this to know what I saw the other night. I saw a well-prepared team against a poorly-prepared one.
