Except we do have 3 kickers who can kick them out of the endzone, but they are told to directional kick it into the corner.
Two issues. The coaches must get the play in. But the QB must know the play clock and get the play off or call a time out. The flag is on the QB.
Agreed, those delay of games were on Harris. You have to know where the play clock is at all times. The play clock operator (speaking from experience because I run a play clock in NCAA Division III) starts the clock (40 seconds) after the ball is blown dead from the previous play. On a penalty or change of possession it's a 25 second clock that starts when the white hat signals for it and blows the whistle. Your quarterback MUST know this.
Rough day for you yesterday bro. Hated to see TCU go down like that. At least Patterson doesn't try to turn his dual threat QB into a pro style QB though and runs an offense that best suits his quarterback.
Why did I hate to see TCU lose? I lived in Fort Worth for around 10 years. Know a lot of Horny Toad fans, good people.
I hold coaches responsible for their jobs. I hold players players for theirs. That is Nick Saban 101, you should love it.
