I can explain how kicking the ball out of bounds ultimately falls on Les' shoulders. Cameron Gamble can kick the ball out of the end zone. However LSU continues to ask the kicker to kick it into the corner between 5 and goal line. This hasn't worked all season but here's the shocker, we continue to do it. That's on the coaches.

Hey. How about that Navy team? Navy kicked Memphis ass. You know what Memphis did.

Love that Navy team, but I doubt more than one or two of their entire squad could even make the LSU squad.

    No sweat!

I just looked at the special team stats. 2 punt returns for 5 yards and and 4 KO returns for 43 yards with the longest being 15 yards.

Way to coach 'em up BDP.

It worked once, which Miles proudly exclaimed in the post-game presser.

it was already there the first time I read his post.

    seriously? circling the wagons?

other than a brief sparring with and old friend (Shane), damn near all of my posts in this thread has said the problem begins with Miles.

I also said this isn't the first time. said it's been going on the entirety of Bama's current streak against us. said it's getting old. said it is ugly.

how in the hell can anyone with better than a pre-k education not grasp that is beyond me.

yeah, Miles is a problem in these types of games. I've said it more than once, I've agreed with other who have said. It's not a secret and I've never sugar coated it.

however, my vision also tells me he is not the ONLY problem, and simply replacing him will NOT solve all the world's problems.

we have other issues on these team as well. me, red, or anyone else pointing them out is not defending Miles or trying to cast blame elsewhere. It's simply calling it like we see it.

we don't have a kicker who can avoid hitting the sideline or put it through the end zone on kickoffs.
for years Saban didn't have one who could make a moderately long FG. Jamie Keehn is not 2011 Brad Wing.
That doesn't magically get cured by changing the HC or firing Peveto.

Brandon Harris missed a wide open LF twice last night, drilled a Bama DB right betwixt the numbers, and was just chucking his deep ball up for grabs. He had a bad night.
Part of that is coaching. Part of that is the level of the opponent. Part of it is sometimes players don't have great nights in big spots.

The sad thing about this game is the total destruction of Fournette's Heisman hopes. That debacle late in the season is a killer. Damn.

Honestly I can't attribute what you've said to you because you rarely post and it's kinda been a flurry this AM; sorry if I wrongly lumped you in with blind supporters. I never said the team is perfect without Les, but he deserves A LOT of criticism.
