Their recruiting rankings have been only slightly higher. Yes they were the better team but not nearly as much better as it appeared last night. I'm not in the fire Miles group, he does too many things really good. I am in the group that blames him for the offense and playcalling. History more than proves that's on him.
Uh oh, this is new territory. If you're matter-of-factly stating that we're just not as good as Bama, well, that puts everything else you say into perspective. We aren't Bama's W Kentucky or Vandy for cripes sake. Ok. I'm not. I said he's been hot/cold all season and wonder why you expected to see something different from him.
Agreed. Les can be criticized for head coaching issues. What I object to is the deification of Harris, who is a decidedly average quarterback. And this notion that nobody else on the team deserves any criticism.
We are not as good as Bama in any way you want to measure it. Not this year. I didn't. Who did? I just am not shy about pointing out the problems he displayed last night. That is all this GB&U thread is about, the game last night.
The thing about Harris is other than that 4 of 14 game where the receivers dropped everything, he has been very good for what he has been asked to do. Every game this year you can look at the game threads and the next day threads questioning why we aren't throwing the ball more. We are going to need for Harris to have that experience for when it comes time to play Alabama because we aren't going to just be able to line up I and run on them all game. How come yahoos on a message board can figure this out but our coaches can't? But I know the answer, Les is paid to win games, not prepare for Alabama.
