Yeah and I feel really stupid for thinking LSU had a chance last night. I think I'm more mad at myself for allowing myself to be fooled again than I am at Miles. He is who he is.
It's been that way all year; good, not great. He could have done good enough to win but was put in position to fail.
The line is Vegas went from 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 yesterday. That suggests to me that somebody besides Saban knew something.
I think many of us fool ourselves into believing that Miles will eventually come out of his shell and put together a 20th century gameplan that utilizes the abundance of talent he recruits. We foolishly think that because the entire world sees how his offensive philosophy limits his team that he will adapt and adjust. In the end a game like last night only confirms that those of us that hold on to that hope are indeed only fools. No smoke and mirrors with Miles, what you see is what you get and he ain't changing.
Truly sad, yet there are a few here who will ridicule this and say "fanboy" blah blah blah 10 win seasons. A couple years ago I could see that it was the beginning of the end. It is coming.
