OK, how many drops and by who? Fournette would have had long yardage if that pass had been catchable. The interception was thrown behind Quinn. He scattered a lot of passes. I haven't watched the replay yet, but I only remember one pass that absolutely should have been caught.

Which is plenty of time to get the play off, right? The foul is on the QB, whose job it is to watch the play clock. I wish we had a QB who could read defenses and call his own plays, but we don't. Should Les have called a timeout? Hard to say, since inside the 5 we only gave up 3 yards on both penalties, it was probably wise to save the time outs.

I mentioned that in post 1.

A lot of it is. When we had a top quarterback we threw for 3,000 yards and had two 1,000 yard receivers. I don't talk about recruiting issues in Good, Bad, and Ugly. I talk about the game we just played.

Dural had a drop. That's the only one I saw last night.

Not when you run a scheme that rely on making checks with the sideline....

By the time Harris relays the play and they get lined up they have 5 seconds for a check.

Miles just sat there with his timeouts..

The TE also had a drop after a hard hit, but dropped balls was not the problem.

Are you kidding? We're more talented than 90% of the teams out there (if not more). That is good enough to win, good coaches win with lesser talent all the time. The response wouldn't be as vitriolic in a well played loss, but Miles got spanked AGAIN. Harris was no worse than I expected, it's been clear this year he isn't good enough to win games; he's an important contributer but our OL and Fournette have been the VIPs. This game is on the coaches and OL, with credit to Bama's DL. Haven't there been some teams this year to go for 100+ on Bama?

The bitching about the delay penalties is moot. Harris threw us out of it. Then we ran headlong into the teeth of the defense and punted. Pitiful

I think the point Red made in post 1 is really all that needs to be said. Stop the run and you beat LSU.
