The sad part is we aren't a lesser big 12 team that has to completely go crazy with scheme. A few simple changes that takes away Bamas strength most football novices could figure out have proven to be enough. Except we have the actual talent to compete. Our speed vs their fat asses could have been an advantage. Why continue to do what cost you in '12 over and over. I'll never understand. How many times can a person literally beat their head against a fucking wall before they realize it hurts. because that's how it feels at this point. How many times before you stop. I mean no one should be that stupid or hard headed. Can't Cam simply tell Les enough at some point. Just leave it alone when it's failing so spectacularly. Les miles has shown to even the most diehard fans he will not adapt no matter what until after a loss or 2. And sometimes not even then. Saban is miles bear Bryant. Sadly amazing because it doesn't have to be this way. Our destinies could have been much different than the record books will reflect. And thats the part that sucks the most. It doesn't have to be this way.
Remember we aren't recruiting real quarterbacks at LSU. We are recruiting tailbacks that have arm strength.
But leave out the WR drops? You talk about back to back delay of games but dont even mention no play was called until 15 seconds left...... Or the fact that after LF7 was getting 1 yard per carry WE DIDNT ADJUST..... year after year we cannot pass the ball and its on the players? LOL
The scheme LSU runs will work against just about every team in the NCAA save a few, one of them happens to be in our side of the conference. Square peg round hole over and over again.
I've said the same elsewhere; it is possible to win out and the football gods might make some things happen where we make the playoff. This loss killed hope and faith but my mind realizes the possibility. None of that changes the shitstorm that was last night, which has become a pattern vs Miles. Gloss over all that and I call you a pumper.
It works against lesser talented teams, but when it meets an equal team it usually fails. LSU simply out talents most teams. If it comes down to scheme or gameplan it's pretty much guaranteed to be a loss.
