Based on passing yards. We're dead last in passing attempts also. Harris is Top 5 in SEC in QB rating and only Prescott as thrown as few INTs. Quit trashing him. He had a bad game along with the rest of the team but none of them had as bad a game as CLM!!!
I've only seen 5 Tigers play with any heart in in this game since 2012, Zach Mettenberger, Jarvis Landry, Jamal Adams, Christian LaCouture, and you're not gonna like this one but it's true, Anthony Jennings a year ago.
The teams that beat them have a QB that can and does beat them running and passing. Harris can run, I think he can pass too, but I think there are some passes he throws better than others.
How many times have we said you HAVE TO THROW THE FOOTBALL TO BEAT ALABAMA? Why can't a guy who is paid over 4 million figure that out?
Passer rating really does not mean much when you do not throw the ball very often. Not saying it is his fault. The thing with him that puzzles me is why he can throw the best looking long balls, and can not throw a short pass to save his life.
Long balls are easy, you just chuck it. Anthony Jennings is the same way, can hit the long ones, can't hit short ones. No touch.
It's puzzling these are not average men throwing the ball. I have watched many QB's over the years, and have never seen this inept short passing game. It is really sad when I believe I could throw those balls better than they can. Just the short ones. lol
