I do think it's apparent that LSU has to step up their OL and DL recruiting and coaching up(which O has done). LSU especially must get bigger, stronger DL. Also the LB recruiting has to improve. Tackling fundamentals are a must. LSU too often has poor tackling.
Amigo . . . LSU is #116 in passing offense. Dead last in the SEC. Harris is not having a good year and he had a horrible night at Bama.
And I think all of this will be addressed. Looking back most of predicted at least 3 losses, that still might hold but I think many of us were pleasantly surprised to come into this game undefeated. Thinking about what could be. Yes, I think these issues on the DL and LB will be addressed, sadly our issue at HC will not
So is he another recruiting bust???? Is there another issue??? How is it so many highly rated QB's come to LSU and completely flame out??? Personally I still don't like the offense Cameron chooses to run with him or is forced to run with him.
It's superior talent that allows a team to impose it's will on its opponents. That's what we've been relying on but yesterday we meet a team with slightly better talent and got owned. You can't impose your will on a team like Bama, you have to beat them, out coach them, exploit their weaknesses, keep them guessing... We lined up in the I and did exactly what they expected. That's game day coaching brother.
Then quit with the Harris had a bad game crap, he had a bad game because he didn't have much of a chance to do otherwise
I picked three losses myself. I just have trouble swallowing this loss because LSU was ill prepared, while Bama improved over their two weeks. It also looks like LSU just broke, that swagger is missing. Had LSU came out with more fire and better play calling I could accept the loss.
