I appreciate your zen-like ability to accept loss dude but this isn't something new or something that will change. To that I have only one response. And then?
If LSU comes ready to play they put up a better fight. If Miles would take a page from Saban and throw early to help open the pass then things may have been different. Hats off to the Bama front 7 though, they are beast. They came with mean intentions to shut down Fournette.
He threw for 31%, that's bad. It is a big deal. All week we said that Harris has to make Bama pay for stopping Fournette. He failed. It's not all on Harris, I made that clear. There was a lot of balme to go around. It's not all on Les either.
It's much easier to impose your will on lesser teams. When equal or better is the only time you actually find out how good you are. When you find out you are not you have to adapt and scheme. This is what coaches get paid big money for. Players reflect the personality of their coach. Our HC coaches like a female against Saban and the players performance reflects that. Yes it was decided before the coin toss. By the one with the big white hat.
But you fail to mention we didn't get off of the game plan. Hard to make them pay for stopping Fournette when they keep handing it off to Fournette
I agree, the players have to perform better. The lines were both owned by Bama. However the lack of fire to start the game set the trend for things to come. The Bama offensive play calling was much better. I think had LSU come out more diverse it could have opened things up for the run. Also, Harris should have ran more. Although he was a bit gimpy.
