then, you don't listen to what he (CNS) has preached for years. being positive is not in lieu of obsessing over details....if you are a coach. I am a fan and have no control over those details, so I'm focusing on positives. CNS does both. He may seem negative in his media interviews, but his philosophy is very positive.

Then thank god Miles can recruit cause I'd hate to see how bad it would be if not for top 10 classes coming in.

I have enjoyed The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly this season. However having a single good coming from this game is a stretching, in search of something positive. The game was hyped, but only one team came to play.

I slept on this, but I have not changed my opinion from last night, this game is all on Miles. LSU showed zero fire or focus to start this game. While Bama was honed in, ready to play. You can tell they were tired of hearing about how great Fournette is. LSU came out and looked like a team that was scared. The lack of a gameplan, focus, and fire is on coaching.

LSU came out with the plan to run the damn ball no matter what. THe OL has been inconsistent all year against much lesser DL's, now you're going up against the best front seven in the country. Bama was one step ahead of LSU the entire game. They manhandled the LSU OL, yet Miles stubbornly was hell bent on running the damn ball.

The LSU D stepped up to make some plays when they had to early on to keep the game within reach. LSU finally started throwing the ball and things began to change. Wow, what a surprise. Back to the D, they were just wore out by a physical OL and back. Plus the fact they were on the field too much early on. LSU is a shitty tackling team. I laughed when I watched Coker run over Debo, near the goaline. He went high, not even attempting to wrap up and got steamed. That is on the player, but also lack of coaching. You didn't see that from Bama, they hit hard, but wrapped up.

The second half starts, Harris threw a very stupid pass which was picked off. I had a feeling deep inside that the INT sealed the deal for Bama. It killed the moral and LSU lost all hope. Then the next drive what does Miles do, continue running the ball. Punt it right back to Bama who ate up the LSU D once again. Steele sucks, he does not change up a single thing. He has to go after the season, promote Coach O who should have been the DC to start with.

What it comes down to is that Bama has now won 5 in a row. They come in expecting to win, LSU comes in unprepared expecting to lose. Miles will never beat Saban again. The culture of championship football and swagger are gone from LSU. Miles has lost his magic. This type of loss is unaccpetable, both teams had two weeks to prepare.

I do believe it and I'm not the blind one. Yes, Harris had a bad game, why is that? He missed a wide open Fournette in the 1st half and threw a pick at the 28. BFD!

I was wondering last night if this type of game could hurt recruiting. That is why we lose out head to head with Bama.

They all had bad games because, as Hawker pointed out, we played toward Bama's strength and did nothing to attack their weaknesses. That's not on the players.

Harris had a bad game but to label him as an ineffective QB based on last night is as ridiculous as labeling LF an ineffective back based on last night. Harris had one of the highest QBR ratings in the conference heading into last night. He has been very effective in running the offense. But your willingness to write him off and throw him under the bus while blindly defending the head coach is sad.

This is apparently the case and it is the coaches job to make sure they are ready to play. I will add it to the UGLY.

No, the players also have a responsibility to do their jobs and be ready to play, as well. It's not all on Les. As you mentioned, Harris had a bad game, both lines underperformed, and tackling was very poor.

There was no good or bad. IT WAS ALL PHUCKING UGLY.
Bama dominated us in every phase of the game. I can't come up with words to describe how bad we were out coached. Give Saban two weeks to prepare and this is what you get.
