He is a players coach, a ceo, who has no business sticking his nose into the X's and O's. Oh and let's not forget his time management skills. He just needs to suck on a piece of grass, and get out of the way.
i think youre lack of understanding (im in the same boat, btw) comes from being wrong about the premise. clm does know. doesnt mean thats the only info he uses to come to a conclusion. he has a lot more relevant info than we do and he understands football much better than you and me. he'll make stupid decisions sometimes, he'll win/lose games he shouldnt, he'll be lucky/unlucky, he'll even lose the games he should lose (they do exist, tiger fans). but he'll always understand football.
Did Les tell you this? Lol ------- He is a great figure head, reminds me allot of Mack Brown. He has never been a great coordinator. His job is not to run the X's and O's, but to bring in coordinators to do so. Chavis was pretty damn good and Les benefited from it. His fingerprints have been all over the offense for years now, and he deserves some of the blame for the inept performances. So far our offense is ranked 106th {based on yards per game} Here is a great article that backs up the inept offense since 2007. http://www.andthevalleyshook.com/2015/1/6/7501645/its-the-offense-stupid Total Offense Ranking for LSU 2014 80th 2013 35th 2012 87th 2011 86th 2010 86th 2009 112th 2008 55th Numbers do not lie gentleman. If you are on the Les bandwagon as he knows offense. I suggest you jump off and come back down to reality. Les does not know offense!
So that's an average of 77 per year. How many games did the team with the 50th ranked offense win in those years?
Who cares! Those are pathetic final standings for a team that finishes in the top 10 in recruiting year after year.
If we accept this then no one can dare question anything any coach ever does because "they know more". The simple truth is: IT DOES NOT MATTER what extra info he has, what he does or does not know about football, how much he gets paid, or anything else. We have had a HUGE weakness at QB except for 2 years. Miles has had 10 years to bring in a QB and develop him - He has failed to EVER do this. Since 2007, except for that same 2 year period with a JUCO QB, Miles has failed to run an even remotely balanced offense, that wasn't predictable, and has cost us games. It does not matter how many games he has won. For the amount of talent he has recruited: He has underachieved. Period.
