Bama had as many drops or more, drops are part of the game. Some of ours definitely came at bad times, but to say our passing game problems are due to dropped passes is insane.

It's producing no progress in the passing Game. I wish I could ask Chavis what he thinks about the offense off the record

I did not say that our passing game problems are due to dropped passes. I did say that several key drops quite possibly lost this game for us, especially the Jones drop on 1st down in OT.

I don't agree. If the passing yardage increases by 10% in each game, we're probably in playoff position right now, and this team isn't getting any younger and less experienced.

What is this keeping up with the Joneses garbage? Alabama hasn't had a great passing game in their championships.

What? Another 18 yards a game and we're in the playoff? What are you smoking?
I don't think anyone is talking about anything near keeping up with the Jones. A passing game just a little better than putrid would probably do. And you're right Bama does not have a good passing game, but it's much better than ours. If our passing attack was just less than average like Bama's THEN we would probably be in the picture for the 4 team playoff INSTEAD OF BAMA!

LOL No, but if you say so, 13-26.

    13-26

    13-26

Also, what about all the other games?

We were one play away from beating Mississippi St. We threw for about 340 yards in that game. We were one yard away from a touchdown early in the game and turned the ball over on downs. Yes, 34 passing yards at the right point in that game would have made the difference.

Alabama, we probably win if we get just one more first down in the fourth quarter.

Alabama has one loss, hasn't played Mississippi St., and is #5 right now. If we'd beaten Mississippi St. and Alabama, we'd be in the top 4 right now.

If we'd thrown 26 incompletions like they did, we wouldn't have come close to winning.

I suspect I'm in the minority, but I'm not into looking back and saying what if.
