one of these days instead of the heads saying he has to lose weight i would like an explanation as to why he needs to lose it. he would probably die if he got near 220.
he is probably one slab away from 15 starting positions with the raiders, but it still didnt answer my question.
He doesn't need to lose weight. And yes, he could start at tackle or end for anybody. Surely doesn't mean he is overweight. He is just the man.
absorbing too many big hits in the nfl will take it's toll on you no matter how fat you are. if jr trims down it can't do anything but help out his mobility. if not, in 3 years he'll be a statue in the pocket.
The thing is he is like Tom Brady. He moves well in the pocket at any weight but will never be a guy that breaks any ankles. I saw him play as a 180 lb. high school freshman near the same height and he wasnt any different than he is today, and definitly not a fast guy at the time either. I realize you dont want him to be too big but it is obvious the heads are just fascinated with the actual number, not how it relates to his body. The dude is a thick guy, and holds his weight well.
As long as that "almost" left tackle can throw an 80 yard pass while kneeling on one knee and pinning Brady Quinn down with the other, he's the starting QB.. lol
I agree with that. He's just that big. And Paulie Walnuts, you have to admit that you can't beat Dreamland ribs (and I don't especially love barbeque...)
