Feel free to post any other good  football spring practice articles in this thread. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?id=3277750 Good article overall. I like Byrd's attitude. He's stepping up as a Sr. leader, sounds like. Others stepping up too, like Brett Helms.
here's one about Perrilloux situation, if you just can't get enough about LSU! football. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/notebook?page=SECnotebook080305 I enjoyed it.
Thanks Houtiger, good articles. I wouldn't mind being the new Miami as far as all the titles and wins. And I'm not to worried about turning into thugs like Miami. Don't think that's the kind of players Miles recruits, and don't think he would let it happen.
I wouldn't be too worried about becoming the new Thug U at all, Les Miles seems to have a good sense about keeping his players not just in line, but about how to teach them to become men. The talent is obviously not an issue either, and I would imagine that LSU, while it may not win the SEC every year, is set up for a lengthy run at the top of the college football world. I'm still hoping for a rematch . Crowton (sp?), is a helluva OC, something i'm beginning to think we could desperately use. Good luck next year guys!
