So, are you saying Meaux was right in the arguments of 2 years ago about the contributions of Ensminger to the 2019 offense?
Perhaps the results he had in 2019 really had more to do with the players generating those stats vs the coach?
The reality is college football is all about winning and making money! As much as Saban has won, let them lose three of four games and those fans will be on his rear like white on rice. Winning is great, but these days fans don't know how to handle losing and immediately want to replace the head coach. It's sort of gotten ridiculous, but when you pay these guys so much money, there is little patience for losing, regardless of the situation!
More overlooking the fact that exact same players here in 2018 under Mingers direction alone didnt even sniff the level of 2019 production... You rarely get such a valid comparison. Getting hired to be OC of one of the worst teams in NFL under a HC who also new to position and expecting immediate success is kinda like saying Joey B is gonna make the Bengals an immediate SB contender. But I guess he was overated too.
