First off, I'm from the Baton Rouge area and lived there for the first fifteen years of my life. Since, then I've lived in the Knoxville area. I've only been to one LSU home game, and no away games. I'm of course going to see LSU play the Vols this Saturday. I'm curious about the whole experience. LSU will charter a flight to Knoxville, correct? That's what one would assume considering that the drive is ten hours. Also, they will arrive in Knoxville on Friday, right?

Regarding the game, is there some sort of entrance that LSU will do on the way to the locker room? I know someone that works at Neyland Stadium and have toured every inch of the stadium and the surrounding facilities after the most recent renovations. I'm extremely familiar with the campus and Neyland Stadium having attended UTK for the last two and half years. I know the exact location of the visitor's locker room. Meeting a few of the players would be awesome. Although, I know that's rather unlikely. Anyways, living about eight minutes from the airport I considered maybe checking out LSU's arrival. Obviously, since they charter a flight they will disembark the plane and walk to a bus within an enclosed area and depart the airport rather discretely. When Oregon came to Knoxville last year, I happened to see their buses depart from the airport on their way into Knoxville on the day before the game, a Friday. I think it was about 7:30 eastern time when their buses left the airport. Coincidentally, I also saw their buses on the way back to the airport to leave for Oregon on Saturday night. I'll have great seats behind LSU's bench. Anyways, being rather unfamiliar with the LSU game day experience, I just need some advice about how to make the most of this Saturday and maybe have a chance to get up close to the players.

THANKS in advance for all your comments.

    GEAUX TIGERS!

Sounds like you probably know a lot more than most of us.

In my opinion this is not "the LSU game day experience" though I guess that could be argued.

Eliminator55 - My boys and I will be at the Airport Hilton around 3:20 to see the Tigers walk in to the lobby. We are from the MS Gulf Coast being here for about 5 years now. Been waiting for the day when the Tigers come to town and play at Neyland stadium. Looking forward to it, maybe we will see you there. GEAUX Tigers!

The team busses left the football center around noon with about four police cars running escort.

Call me if you can. My phone number is ***-***-****. I'm driving and don't have to send it in a message.

So, have they already returned to the Airport Hilton? I'm awaiting their arrival in the lobby now. Several other fans are waiting and they've told me the team has not arrived at the Hilton yet. I just came from the Stadium. I was parked right next to Neyland from about 11:30 - 1:00. I drove right by the stadium at about 1:10. I didn't see any signs of the team buses or the players. I should have drove right by the guest locker room. You can practically drive by them. You get about 50-100 feet away and you can walk up to them most of the time. I'm sure that area is closed off for the weekend though. You can still drive right by the guest locker room though. Anyways. Were that at the stadium at noon eastern or central time?
