Having lived with one of those emotional coaches growing up was fun. Sometimes the risks paid off, and sometimes they didn't.

But you have to admire the guts to go for it.

If we would have made it, it would have been a brilliant call, but no coach has a crystal ball on the sidelines.

Even if he made it, it was a bad call. The outcome has no effect on the decision. It wouldn't be talked about, but it would still be bad.

Personally, I had no issue with the call to go for it. I just question the personnel sent in for it. I don't know if I was the only one to catch it, and I may have been the only one thinking it but lets look at the situation.

Charles Scott went out with an injury. Everyone thinks Williams is his backup, but who do we send in to run the ball... Steven Ridley and not Williams. Ridely runs for the touchdown and then we send Williams in for the 2 pt conversion. To me that looked like we were telegraphing pass because he obviously has more experience as the pass blocker.

I'm probably looking too much into it, but I was just sitting there thinking, we are passing because if we didn't put Williams into run after Scott went down, why would we run him here. He's the senior and has more experience picking up the blitz.
