Now what? Losing both assistants may be a problem?

Who does he bring in to help? I have no idea who is even out there.

 

Javi Sanchez will be the new hitting coach, then the head coach from Michigan State will probably be the new pitching coach or hes at least the top candidate , he coached at Notre Dame when CPM was there, will probably be the recruiting coordinator as well.

 

skip may not be the AD anymore but he will have a hand in this all. he was afterall a pitching guy, serving as pitching coach once on the olympic team.

 

I had to look up who the head coach at Michigan State is. No way he leaves to be an assitant. Just my $.02

Clair is right... There is talent out there and Skip should be able to help identify it.

 

Would CPM consider bringing back Blair Barbier to coach in some capacity?

 

Well everything i said was on the Advocate, Javi is for sure the new hitting coach, not sure about the Michigan State guy, Im pretty sure he would would be making money down here as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator.

 

I would rather be an assistant at LSU than a head coach in Michigan. But I may be a little bias.

Blair is running his own business here in BR I think. Lindsey's Amusements.
He left LSU Baseball to do it, so not sure he would return.

Got to have faith in PM to know who he wants here. Should not be a long wait for us to find out.

Says a lot that a Head Coach at a D1 school will come be an assistant to PM here at LSU. The news said last night he was a catcher as a player which makes him a good pitching coach and a Great Recruiter.
