I went to their game this past Saturday. They didn't look too impressive. The starting pitcher (don't remember his name) got hit around pretty good. Seeemed like evryone was making solid contact against him. The team also committed a couple of errors. They also left runners on base almost every inning.
Nice ball park. Sat just to the 3rd base side of home plate. Pretty cool, with a view of the bridge in the background in right field, and the big @$$ supply ships passing in the canal over in left field. The Hooks seem to get more fan support than the Zephyrs. I've never seen that many people for a Zephyrs game.
God may hate the stros, but it's a really nice park with a choo choo! Oh yeah, and the highest priced beer for ball parks in the country! Who needs to see them win when you have all that??:lol:
4 people- beer, a hotdog, peanuts= $115.00 This is why I dont go to a game unless it can be expensed. Bless you, oil industry.
we make a trip at least once a summer usually more. beautiful park, expensive everything and absolutely sucks when they arent hitting which is 2/3rds the time. looks like that hirsh/taveras trade worked wonders....for the rockies.
Hirsh looks like he will be the first pitcher to succeed at Coors field. What a sad state of affairs while we nurse Jennings along for God knows how long. Jesus Pupura, you suck.
