Here's a question for you Bengal B and any other Kurt Vonnegut fans... What's the Vonnegut novel where the loyal assistant to an auto dealership owner suggests that he open a fried chicken restaurant in the local hood as it would make a lot of money? In the novel, the boss goes crazy and thinks that his female assistant is trying to get him to buy her a restaurant. If memory serves me correctly which as I get older and older is less and less likely, the owner's insanity grew to thinking that everyone was an automated machine without feelings and the creator of the universe was simply interested in seeing how he (the only living person with feelings) would react to all these automated humans without feelings.
I've read all of Vonnegut's books but it's been a long time. I don't remember that particular story line.
Before positing I did a bit of research and could not find any reference to the character and quote, but did find... https://www.ozy.com/flashback/kurt-vonnegut-opens-a-car-dealership/69101 If you're a Vonnegut, you'll probably like the above short article.

President Trump deserves respect for no other reason than respect for the "rule of law", but anyone with as much baggage as he has should have never run for public office.
