I think you are wrong in catching.

If I can for an example, when it's 3rd and 1, we run it. Why? Because we can and because we have that confidence in our running game. Not because of practice.

We have failed to give WRs and QBs game time catches to the point that it is not natural. It's always some under pressure type situation.

On the flip side, we run SO much, we give zero fricks if it's 8 men in the box. We just run it. It doesn't matter if it's a game winning 1st down.

It even takes chemistry to take snaps properly and hand it off. As seen by both Harris and Jennings.

Some might think a simple action, it the game time experience of catching balls is very much an issue we have failed in.

There is no pressure in practice and I'm sure our talent shine in said practice.

@LSUpride123 Failures in what should be the most basic in football actions, i.e. the center/QB exchange, a handoff, are just proof that you're still dealing with human beings, no matter how good they are at football, and mistakes are made. I've been typing for more than 30 years, and I've stopped and corrected myself 6 times just to get this far into this message.

But, OK, I agree that the chemistry between QBs and WRs needs to improve. Freshmen and sophmores, people, freshmen and sophmores. Mett, OBJ and Landry were in their 3rd year together last season, and it took months of extra practice together on their own time to develop the kind of chemistry we saw last year.

I think means you don't know a shit season from a pineapple. Any season that does not end up in a national championship game is a shit season? How do you expect anybody to take you seriously?

Not only that Red he has no idea what class Jennings is in...he's a sophomore and next season he'll be a junior @Kal-El012.

Means there's an extra year for abysmal QB play. Guess my mind was making me type what it was wishing, one less instead of one more.

When I said season, I was referring to shitty offense and QB play. The team is hindered by offensive playcalling, and poor QB play. Of course there may be a few minor things other than that but that is major.

If Leslie changed his offensive philosophy, found a capable SEC calibre QB, and utilized talent on the offensive side of the ball to the fullest, there wouldn't be much more to question, regardless if the season ended in a national championship.

With the talent level here a good QB and better playcalling could go a long way to making the tigers solid in all three aspects of the game.

With regard to the playcalling, I think that it is exactly what the staff wants to help out a young defense. Obviously, we need to cap off long drives with scores, and that is a concern, if not a big problem. However, we're working on grinding out long drives on the ground to help aid a young, fledgling defense. And that's working because teams are not scoring much on us, even teams with high-scoring offenses.

Also, we are mixing in passes as needed to move the chains, but sometimes AJ doesn't hit them, and sometimes, the WRs drop them. It's something to work on, but the playcalling, per se, is not really a problem. It's not sexy to watch, but when executed properly, it's effective.

Last year, our high-flying offense sometimes scored so quickly that our defense didn't get a good rest. And it was not good.

And that means more than just # 83. That means ALL the receivers. Jennings need to see them all every play, not just Dural.

True; however, Mett only saw OBJ and Landry. There were a few WRs last year who played but didn't have a catch all year.
