I have to agree with you here, that is on the WR to make sure where his feet are at all times.

Here you go....first play. This ball is out in front of Quinn and between his numbers and his belt. It is a damn-near perfect throw; in stride and no dive.

Second throw to Quinn. This one is not as good a throw, but Quinn runs five yards upfield, stops (no such thing as 'in stride' this time because he's stopped) and gets his body turned around to completely face the quarterback. The throw is a little off to the side, but he easily gets both hands on it. I'll give you about 30% credit for this one, but I'll lay money that if you asked Quinn about this play today, he'd say he should have caught it.

Bonus: The Dupre play in the first quarter. This one is exactly where you want to throw it, up around the shoulder pads and out in front. Could not have been thrown better.

But of the 18 in-completions you have issue with 3 drops lol. This is what we have come too!!!!!!!

Thought that might be a problem; filters in my work computers not cooperating. But my only issue with 3 out of 18 incompletions is that only some players seem to be held accountable for their mistakes. There was the Jones drop, and at least one other play where people say Quinn had a third drop that I'm not remembering. Two fade patterns in the end zone that were well thrown but Mal couldn't get his feet down. And - believe it or not - a few throws where the defense made a play.....yes, Bama has pretty good players who do that occasionally. 18 incompletions were not the result of 18 horribly thrown balls. There were some - I don't know about you, but I'm in no mood to go watch the entire game and chart the QB's level of competence, or incompetence, if you will. Going back to your thread title....go ahead, blame someone other than our inept QB. Yes, he deserves blame. He doesn't deserve all of it.

Ok Ok I was pissed last night, lost my voice screaming, and had a few beers. No I don't want Les gone but holy shit, why go away from what was working all night? Aggravating sometimes.
