Who brought up Catholic? Who brought up contraception? The point is and will always remain the issue that Planned Parenthood practices ABORTION AND RECIEVES TAX PAYER DOLLARS>>> Religion aside, which I claim none btw, it’s an issue in which divides the country and as such, should not be funded by the taxpayer. See below http://www.fightpp.org/show.cfm?page=basic “PPFA's income for fiscal year 2008-2009 was more than $1.1 billion (up six percent from 2007-2008), with nearly one-third coming from taxpayers.” “In 1984, PPFA committed just over 5.5 percent of all abortions in the United States. The figure is now more than 27 percent.” “On June 30, 2009, PPFA had net assets valued at $994.7 million, of which $396.3 million was unrestricted (essentially a savings account) and $179.9 million was temporarily restricted. Despite these huge sums, PPFA incessantly claims to need more taxpayer dollars.” http://www.lifenews.com/2010/06/16/nat-6425/ “Combining the money received from the Health and Human Services department and USAID, the GAO report indicates Planned Parenthood received $657.1 million in federal funds. The report also shows the pro-abortion group Population Council, which sponsored the dangerous abortion drug RU 486, received $284.3 million in federal funds as well for its international family planning efforts. And the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion group that does research on abortion statistics, received $12.7 million.”
I did because you are intentionally missing the point. PP uses federal funding for contraception, not for abortions. Objection to contraception is a similar religious thing. SO what? If the money isn't going to abortions, you exhibit false outrage. What you are advocating is cutting money for contraception. Sure, pal. It's an issue which divides the country, so your side should get its way? It's a moot point, no abortion funding is at question. None. Zero. Ziltch. What is your true agenda here?
Yes. A fund accounting shell game is all that prohibits Planned Parrenthood from funding abortion with federal funds.
My way? No. As I proposed, they should simply stop being the nation’s leading practice of abortion, which is oddly only 3% of its practices, and then be free to receive all the funds it needs for its women.

Did you ever consider the view point that the reason they need federal money is because without it, they would not have the means to use their own money for Abortion?
This was my exact point. Still you get " no taxpayer money" over and over but without taxpayer money to prop up the rest abortion wouldn't be able to be funded at present levels. I would bet that if the goverment money did stop pp would quit doing all of the services except abortion.
