Just heard half the team couldn't make the trip. OMG, they're havin a meltdown in Tallahassee. This makes anything that any of the Tigers have blundered around with this year seem like spitting on the sidewalk! Man, now, the question is, doe's Bobby B hang it up after all this? Wonder if JF had an inkling what he was stepping into? :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
I'd imagine that JF knew what he was getting into. FSU has a well-known reputation for these kind of off-the-field issues. Boddy Bowden is the Huey Long of football coaches, it makes him lovable in that kind of way. This news about the disqualified FSU players was also discussed here on this thread: If you got money, bet it all on Kentucky over FSU As for feeling sorry for FSU, I wouldn't feel too sorry...
Yea, from the looks of thighs..."ooops", I mean "things" I'd have to agree with that...Sorry bout the typo! (Well, not "that" sorry)
It wouldn't shock me if Fisher bolted to WVU now. WVU will be getting $4M from RR's buyout, plenty enough to pay Fisher's $2.5M buyout. Gotta think an NCAA investigation may be forthcoming at FSU.
so, does the thinking that the best "talent" is in the SEC change now with these discoveries? :thumb:
I am pretty sure that those girls are not FSU fans. They travel around the nation visiting and reporting about the different gameday atmospheres. I think they made it to LSU once as well 2 seasons ago.
They are known as the FSU Cowgirls -- go look them up, they are pretty famous. The most known FSU Cowgirl is Jennifer "Jenn" Sterger, she's become a minor celebrity. Sterger went to Univ. of South Florida before transferring to Florida State. This year, her and some of her friends went to the South Florida vs. Central Florida game and did the Cowgirl thing while wearing South Florida colors. The St. Petersburg Times (Tampa, FL) did a piece on it, noting that: "We were as stunned as you to see Sterger, the poster girl for FSU football, wearing the colors of another in-state school. How could this be? What was she thinking? What would Bobby Bowden say? ... So we called the Cowgirl herself for answers." After she explained her Univ. of South Florida (USF) love by saying, "I went there my first two years.... My parents have had season tickets since before I even went to USF. They're contributors to the program," one of the things they asked her was who she would support if FSU played South Florida in a bowl game this year, and she said: "I'd probably have to go with Florida State. Because that's where my allegiances were when I first got discovered. So probably, my heart would lie there."
