So what's the hold up? While all government is doing is pointing fingers at each other name calling, like 2 siblings that just can't get along, our roads, bridges, tunnels, etc are getting worse.

I find it hard to believe that there are American's out there that would work in the heat and elements for 7.25 an hour. Hell the jobs i hire for that pay 7.25 i cant get people to stay over a couple of days.

ive known people that would, just to feed their families when they lost their jobs. or if it is unskilled labor will do, younger workers that have never worked and need to start building a job history and resume. hell, it would be a good way to teach a trade at the same time. when i worked for jtpa, administering a youth work program, we had to turn kids and young adults away because we did not have enough spots. and the economy was a lot better at that time. all the workers were 16-22. the average age being 19. i only had a couple of bad apples. the rest wanted to earn money and get work experience and were good workers.

there are a few who would, of course, but they would bolt at the first sign of greener pastures, and i wouldn't expect anything different. Everything you said is on point, but i go through this on a daily basis. Finding people to work for 7.25/hr and then keeping them is really hard.
