It's probably a combination of a bunch, says the person without and medical knowledge. He plays so hard that it seems there's nothing he can do about it. Just find a way to manage it as best they can and if he needs to take plays off, do so.
what would be the problem with having a medical staff that can administer an iv on the sideline? Instead of having the guy have to run to the dressing room and miss more plays, or potentially cramp up on the way, causing him to miss even more plays.
