I hope they come here so they can honestly explain why they alone deserve another chance. Specifically, I'd like them to explain: 1) why they didn't need to win their conference, or even their division, to play for the :crystal:. (How can you be #2 in the country if you can't accomplish these basic tasks?) 2) why OSU having the same overall record, a tougher strength of schedule, beating more ranked teams, and winning their conference isn't good enough to challenge for the title. 3) why an SEC slugfest would be more entertaining to non-Southern viewers than a battle between the champions of the two best conferences? (One of the best offenses vs. one of the best defenses? Mouth-watering!)
Because the BCS says so. Same argument LSU can make. You apparently weren't around all those decades before the BCS blessed us with the "one vs two." Now those were the days.
