Ure an idiot that doesn't have a clue. I'd keep giving the best back in college football the load. He'd gone 414 carries without a fumble, yet the likes of u would convict him so quickly.

I agree, Fournette had a horrible game by his standards those two fumbles really hurt LSU. That said, there was a lot of poor play calling in this game. A big moment IMO was going into the end of the half where Miles and Cam go uber conservative instead of trying to stomp on Miss ST. I think that killed the momentum LSU had. Another thing was all these stupid trick play attempts.

Sure we want to see a more open attack with a viable passing attack but this is ridiculous. Keep things simple. We also need to rest Fournette more. He doesn't look fully back. Rest him up for the bigger games. Guice should have had more attempts last night.

At the end of the day the players made some mistakes but until we see a legit change in the mind set of the players we will continue to see these lapses. Which IMO are a reflection of Miles and the loss of the LSU swagger.

great point about no longer having that swagger

I just remember thinking after the interception that ended the game vs wisconsin game and the look of disbelief on miles' face....he fully expected us to get in fg range and win in typical les miles fashion......its the beginning of the end and his luck has run out...one would hope

I was encouraged by Etling, but lets be real. LSU should beat Miss St by 2 TDs. Dak Prescott isn't walking through those doors. We won the game, that's as far as I'll go. We should beat Auburn next week since I think their QB position is even worse than ours, but if we don't play better for 4 quarters, make no mistake, we aren't escaping the Swamp, much less against Ole Miss and Bama. Florida almost beat us last year in Tiger Stadium with a RB playing QB. The only thing good is that Etling will have this start against Auburn so Florida won't be his first road start in the SEC.

The 2nd half was SOOOO Les Miles. Classic Les Miles. That thing at the end of the first half where we wasted a bunch of time instead of going for the throat...yeah. That's Les Miles football and it's not good enough.

Did someone get taint back on his leash? I figured that little shit would be all worked up. Perhaps he and his twin Moe are busy figuring out their next skit.

    It's mildly amusing.

Etling will get rattled at AU. Harris will come in for relief but it won't be enough.
Moo U lost at home to USA, we should have spanked that ass.
We will drop AU, UF and OM... We should have an interim coach for Bama...

Going to be hard to drop one to the barn who has the biggest hot mess at QB in the SEC. The barners just suffered their 7th straight loss to a power 5 team in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Gus is losing control of what he wants to do offensively. His QB substitution has no rhyme or reason. You think you have problems?
