Georgia Nation is very upset, some with the BCS and some with Richt's whining

Well, in light of that I guess my crack about 'crappy BCS computers' shows my ignorance about CFB, and admittedly I didn't take an interest in it until after the BCS was installed.

 

Every school has whiny and irrational fans and the system is broken. But I agree with the article and the system I propose would still leave Georgia out. Win your conference, otherwise you don't have to look far for someone to blame.

The argument has been made over and over, that we don't need a playoff, because the regular season is the playoff. Well, LSU won the playoff in the SEC. Every team beat up on each other, but when the playoff was over, the SEC west winner, beat the SEC east winner. (and UGA did not even win thier half of the bracket). So the BCS worked as designed, whether any of us like it or not, and I am sure we liked it this year.

I have to say that I do not agree with them and would rather see a playoff, but it will never happen because of the bowl traditions, $$$$$$, and conference loyalty, IMHO

 

the UGA fans are so obnoxious about this whole thing that I decided to leave my LSU car flags up and might just LEAVE them on until they get shredded by the wind...

Well, I've said this in an earlier post, but I'll repeat it.

You get the "pizzz" beat out of you by UT, the same team we beat in the SECCG. And you're bichin about not getting into the NCG? The Tigers have lost 2 games by a collective handful of points both in triple OT. Quit crying GA, be happy with the Sugar Bowl and try harder next year. BTW, if theres any question about what your fellow coaches thought about your season. Look up the way they voted! Fulmer and Nutt both voted the Tigers over you, with good reason. Now nut up, go beat the pizzz outa the Hawaii. Show them what SEC football is all about! If you keep whining and lose focus the Rainbows may kick your azzzzz!
