Georgia much more of a disappointment than LSU

Putting things in perspective, there is no excuse for Georgia to be in the position they are in.

Currently losing 24-21 to Kentucky midway in the 3rd, they may suffer their 3rd defeat. A team that was preseason #1.

And their D is just as porous as LSU's. Kentucky pretty much having their way.

    Is Richt overrated?

    To some degree, yes.

Richt is a good coach. He will get an occasional SEC title, but that is it.
He is missing the "it" factor that is needed to win an NC.

Yeah that's why I said to "some degree". Obviously a solid coach, but nothing more.

    Georgia wins 42-38

Georgia is using guards to play OT.
Sturdivant, Vance, and Tripp are all injured.

    It's your defense.

    What happened this season?

The media had your defense made out to be the best in the nation at the beginning of the season, thus the #1 ranking.
