I think he signed. UGa has 14 days to submit the LOI to the conference (they didn't refuse it, lol) or it becomes void. I think Evans wants out and Kirby wants to keep him. And the academics card? Really? Lol. Let's just admit that college football players and college students are 2 different species who go by 2 completely different sets of rules. The average ACT score for incoming freshman at LSU is 26. At UGa it is 31. The average ACT score of college football players is probably closer to 23. Unless you are talking about the military academies, not even the highest rated schools will balk at finagling a dumb 5*'s school records. Kal is a perfect example. Like Terrance Alexander? Only difference is, the nerd threw the first punch at Pickens.
I'm well aware schools especially in the SEC do anything and everything to get kids qualified. I'm merely pointing out most schools weren't sure Pickens could qualify and UGA made it happen so there's precedent. Evans has lied plenty. I am just stating what he's said not what I believe. Those are very different things. But one thing is certain only Evans and Kirby's staff (and maybe O & Jimbo) know what's truly going on. I prefer Gibbs over Evans and i say that even after my expectation is that Evans doesn't end up with Georgia where he signed and is likely still in play for LSU.
Not even close ... esp the ballers ... Examples: Randall Gay had like 16 ... Raised it ... Dom Davis had 12 ... Got it up to 19 to get in. Most ballers are squeaking in with combination ACT above 12 less than 18 with GPA on a slide scale ... look it up
Also Terrance Alexander was never good enough to play lol. Literally started one game and got tossed almost immediately.
