Georgia will be much better this year on defense, but their offense might even be worse. They lost both starting tailbacks (grades and attitude) and are starting a true freshman and a converted linebacker (both of whom are already dinged up). Unless Crowell gets healthy and plays up to his expectations, Coach Richt might want to keep an eye on the Monster.com listings.

"Jawga ain't MAN ENOUGH to beat Boise St!!!". ;)

I dont' know if the dawgs have the discipline on defense to stop Boise St's formations and creative pass patterns that allows them to get receiver's running wide open down the field.

A lot was made about Boise beating VaTech last year in the same scenario. To me VaTech is one of the most over-rated teams year after year. I don't think they gave Boise as good a fight as UGA will.

I see UGA pulling this one off. Unless Kellen Moore is lights out with a less experienced set of receivers, UGA's defense could own the day.

Shooo, you ain't kidding. All but one of the talking heads at the Orange Bowl last year predicted VT beating Stanford. If they had actually watched either team play in the regular season, I doubt they would have done so. Stanford proceeded to decimate the hoagies.

I think Georgia wills their way to victory. Sure, they lost some key players. But I think they'll really be up for this game. They've got a lot to prove, and know they'd never hear the end of it if they lost to Boise.

Yep. BSU doesn't have near the talent UGA has. They are going to be outmatched big time.

    I'm not so sure.

I hope Ga can pull it out, but I would definitely consider it to be a huge upset.

They're thin on offense. Really, really thin.

    Jawja.

They may not have much of a running game at all. Washaun Ealey and Caleb King who would have been their senior starters are both gone. Richard Samuel never lived up to expectations as a running back and was converted to a linebacker for the last two seasons. Now they're relying on him and a true freshman, Isaiah Crowell to run the ball. Crowell was the #1 rb in last year's class according to some services but he's hurt and so is Samuel. They'll both play, though, according to Richt.

One really bright note is their special teams. They should be among the best in the nation.
